The clients wanted the house to be evoke the qualities of a haveli, which needed to be interpreted into a modern take. The main idea of the house began around a courtyard in the middle where they had managed to grow a tree. The whole house revolves around that since the tree does all the way to the top floor. Another unique aspect of the house were the split levels. Further interest in this eclectic home comes not just from the inside but the outside as well. The stone cladding that has been used gives a feel of a roughness and grandeur.
